Rosie's Place - A Darling Little Brunch Location

Rosie's Place - downtown Noblesville, Indiana
This weekend we traveled up to Noblesville, Indiana, to celebrate a late Christmas with my sister, Season, and brother-in-law, Justin. We had planned to make the five hour journey several weeks ago, but due to some icy weather and scheduling conflicts, this was the first opportunity we had to head north since Christmas.  Our aunt, uncle and twin cousins flew their plane up as well and joined in the festivities.
The cookie counter

Our trip was much too short, so we crammed in as much as we could in our less than 24 hours together. One of those things was having brunch Sunday morning at Rosie's Place in downtown Noblesville.

When I walked in the door, I immediately fell in love. As you first enter the quaint little bistro, you are greeted with an array of delicious treats. There's a cookie counter and a cooler filled with a number of decedent bakery items. My eyes and taste buds didn't know where to start!  My sister explained that Rosie's was famous for their gooey butter cookies. She graciously purchased all of us a butter cookie for our trip home, and I must say, it was the most delicious cookie I have ever had. Truly. And the good news is, Rosie's sells these cookies on their website, so you can try them even if you can't make it to their adorable little bakery. Here is the link and I would highly recommend stocking up on these magnificent treats!  https://rosiesplace.net/shop/box-of-12-cookies-gooey-butter/

Rosie's traditional mimosa
We were seated promptly, which was surprising considering how busy they were.  After all, it was Sunday morning brunch, and there wasn't an empty seat in the house.  The menu was almost overwhelming with the number of delicious sounding options.   I opted for a traditional mimosa (they had specialty versions as well) and french toast. I quickly learned that I had made an excellent choice.

The mimosas were adorable. The waitress brought out my own little bottle of Zonin prosecco, along with a tiny milk bottle of orange juice and a stemless campaign flute. This allowed me to mix my mimosa to my liking. It was perfect!

Rosie's French Toast
But the french toast - let me tell you, they are not playing around with their french toast. My plate was mounded over with three large slices of challah bread, cut in half, for a total of 6 large french toast pieces. The dish was served with fresh strawberry slices and powdered sugar along with warm maple syrup.  I ended up sharing with the whole table and everyone agreed that it was fantastic.  I think the picture pretty much speaks for itself.

We all so enjoyed this quaint little brunch spot. The atmosphere, service and food were all superb. If you ever find yourself in downtown Noblesville, Indiana, do yourself a favor and stop in, at least for a gooey butter cookie. And if you can't make the trip, be sure to check out their website link mentioned above and get those cookies sent directly to you! You won't regret it. Promise.
